This is a fundraising campaign to create and install a life-sized (or larger than life) bronze statue of Reggie “‘Da Crusher” Lisowski in his hometown of South Milwaukee, WI. ‘Da Crusher was a lifelong South Milwaukee resident who led an extraordinary life:
Da Crusher wrestled professionally at the highest level for more than 40 years and was known worldwide as “The Man That Made Milwaukee Famous.” He was a three-time AWA Heavyweight Champion, a five-time AWA tag team champion with Dick the Bruiser, and was inducted into WCW Hall of Fame.
‘Da Crusher, a World War II Army veteran, embodies the blue-collar, hard-working people of South Milwaukee, and a monument honoring his memory will be a proud landmark for South Milwaukee, southeastern Wisconsin, and all wrestling fans, everywhere — forever.
The goal is to raise $40,000. Please return to this site to see updates on events/fundraisers.
